Direct Supervisor: IT Director
Responsibilities:
1. Network & Infrastructure Management:
o Design and implement internal and external computer networks.
o Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure stability and reliability.
o Apply network security protocols to protect against cyber threats.
o Regularly update network hardware and software to maintain optimal performance.
2. Server & System Administration:
Active Directory Server Management:
o Create and manage users, permissions, and groups in Active Directory.
o Implement security policies and control access to network resources.
o Perform backup and recovery operations to ensure service continuity.
Firewall Server Management:
o Configure and maintain firewalls to ensure network security.
o Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect potential threats.
o Implement internet access control policies and block unauthorized websites.
Backup Server Management:
o Execute regular backup plans for all data and servers.
o Test data recovery processes to ensure backup efficiency.
o Ensure backups are stored securely to prevent data loss or damage.
File Share Server Management:
o Set up and manage shared file access permissions.
o Implement security measures to prevent unauthorized access.
o Monitor storage usage and ensure continuous file availability.
3. Technical Support & Maintenance:
o Provide technical support for network, hardware, and software issues.
o Supervise hardware maintenance and ensure optimal device performance.
o Train employees on the proper and secure use of IT systems.
4. Cybersecurity & Risk Management:
o Implement cybersecurity policies to protect company data and infrastructure.
o Monitor systems to detect and prevent security threats.
o Develop and execute disaster recovery plans for system restoration.
5. IT Project Management:
o Participate in the planning and execution of new IT projects.
o Assess company needs and recommend appropriate IT solutions.
o Coordinate with vendors and external service providers for IT-related needs.
6. Documentation & Reporting:
o Document all server and network configurations, along with troubleshooting procedures.
o Prepare periodic reports on network performance, server health, and security status.
o Provide recommendations to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in network management & technical support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewalls.
• Experience in Active Directory, Firewall, Backup, and File Share Servers.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and protection software.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, MCSA, Sophos are a plus.
